    DV8000 slave drive?

    so i have a DV8000 that can hold 2 drives and i'm trying to put in a slave drive but the system will not recognize it (won't show up in my computer). I run Acronis to set up the new drive and it reads it and formats it and everything but it still won't show up in my computer. do i need to put some jumpers on the pins or something because there isn't any info on the drive itself on how to do this but there are 4 pins next to the Serial hookups. anyone got any suggestions
