This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     DV8t or DV7t

    Have narrowed down to one or the other. When I configured them exactly the same (i7s) the price differential is less than $50. They will not be used in traveling just a desktop replacement.

    I would just go with the DV8t but it is new and I want to have the most reliable system to keep for the next 3-4 years.

    What do you experts think.

    I went with the dv8 because of the 1920 x 1080 screen resolution.
