    DV9000 - HP Registration Window keeps poping up, solutions?

    Please help. I cannot take this anymore. This friggin window comes up every 5-10 minutes to make me register my laptop, which I wont until I get my rebates.

    In Windows Vista go to Start, search for Task Scheduler and press enter.

    Once task scheduler pulls up, click on the task scheduler library and scroll down until you see something like Registration, run every 5 minutes once triggered. Something along those lines. Then just delete the scheduled tasks that you don't want to run. That should solve the problem.
