I know what the website says for the DV9000t but wondered if there is a newer BIOS than the F.29 listed or if drivers for other models will work?

There is actually a newer BIOS release than version F.29 for the dv9000t series.

    Version F.2D

How did I find this, you may be asking? :D Well, the 15.4" dv6000t and the Compaq V6000 Intel series are also equivalent to the dv9000t. It seems that HP had also released F.2C and F.2B after F.29, with some important changes in those releases (all of which are included in F.2D).

I'm not sure about your dv9000t, but in my model dv9207us, the latest BIOS update is F.2D, here

Other BIOS model will work? Not every BIOS update compatible with your model. I can not confirm it, but most of model below dv9500t would share the same BIOS update.

HP still do not provide BIOS update for dv9000t CTO except F.29, HP should have their own reason not to put it in CTO support page.

My recommendation, if you do not have any difficulties with the current BIOS, i.e 1394 port, NUMLOCK issue, low in memory card speed, do not update the BIOS.

Anyone actually try this in a DV9000t?
