I have a DV9000 and im wondering is there a place for 2 hds in this and what do I need to install 2? I want to put in a 7200 rpm main drive for my OS, and then put a big 5400 rpm drive for storage....can I do this?

You need a second hard-drive bay and special adapter that you have to order from HP.

The dv9000 does have 2 drive bays.

    I have that setup now.
    Drive #1 Seagate Momentus160gig 7200 rpm
    Drive #2 Seagate Momentus100gig 5400 rpm
You will need the hard drive caddy and SATA adapter to install the second drive. They are available from HP and on eBay.
