Hi, I have a dv9000t (1.66 C2D) and after updating my BIOS to the newest version (F.15) my fans almost constantly run, often at some of the higher speeds. Before the BIOS update my fans would only go on around 36-40 C but after the update my fans stay on even when my computer is 30 C. Is this normal, the computer shouldnt need its fans on at 30 C, especially at higher RPMs. Has anyone else found this problem, and if so is there anyway to restore the previous BIOS settings. I tried downgrading the BIOS but the fans still stay on just as much. I would be grateful for any help as I can't stand the loud noise of the fan anymore.

Is there an option in the BIOS to enable fans always on while on AC Power? Sounds like a setting that may have had the default changed in the updated BIOS.
