I have the option of either a DV9220US or DV9235NR. Looking at the specs as given these two models are the exact same long with the same price. But there has to be at least a minimal difference to justify the different model and part numbers. Of course using Google is a complete waste of time these days as all I got are page after page of price search engines or the like.

Does anyone know what if any difference might be between these two?

I posted the exact same question for 12.1" tx1000z series laptops. I asked what's the difference between tx1215nr and tx1205us. Someone replied the suffix "nr" means it's tagged for Best Buy and "us" is pre-built by HP.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the quick reply, this was great help as I probably will have to order one tomorrow. Also explains why I pulled up nothing using the part number to the NR model, but did find references to the US one.
