I have had the dv9500t since August, middle of last week I noticed that the screen would go black and lock up. I would need to reboot to get it back. Then today same thing happened but after rebooting my display would not come back. I contacting HP through the online support and the rep had me remove the battery and boot without it to power drain the unit from a static charge. The display came back with no problem. I powered down and inserted the battery, and booted and it came up fine. About 3 hours later the same thing happened, only this time I could not get it back even with the discharge trick. I contacted support again and now I have to send it it for repair. But from what I am reading many peoples computers come back with just as many problems...

Has anyone experienced an issue with the display? I found a couple of instances here and there on other forums.

Has anyone had any experiences with sending laptops in to be fixed?
