    DV9500T Initial Battery Charge?

    Hi Everyone,

    How long should you charge the battery initially? It's been a few years since I bought my last laptop and I was told then to keep it plugged in on AC power for 2-3 days to get max battery life.

    Does the same hold true for the newer laptops like the DV9500T? I have a high cap 8 cell.

    The battery usually comes ~40% charged. Read the battery guide for more.

    I charged mines for 8 hours then let it completly die. I repeated the process 2 times
