Ok as I said, sometimes it won't even go to sleep mode just kind of hang with all the lights on and I have to hold down the power button to shut down then Restart. While it is in sleep mode sometimes it will come back on on it's own. It also crashes and restarts quite often while in sleep mode. I have tried different video drivers as someone suggested a while ago still have the same problems. More often than no the biggest problem is it crashing and starting up while in sleep mode. Any suggestions? Hasn't really caused any problems just very annoying, the sleep mode is the best thing I like about vista too bad it is the one thing that really doesn't work for me.

Mine also has had problems going into sleep mode. You press the button and it starts to sleep, but never fully goes down. If you wait like 20 minutes, it will eventually blue screen, but otherwise you need to force it off. It's happened so much that I have stopped using sleep mode now. I'm hoping this will be fixed in SP1.

As for crashing when coming out of sleep mode, I have not seen this myself, but I have seen some windows updates and I think some HP patches that are supposed to help. Otherwise, make sure you disconnect external USB devices a few minutes before shutting down -- that might help too.

I'll try disconnecting the mouse and see if that helps.
