    Hi

Does anybody know the part # and where I can the DVD burner for the zv5000z series? 8x would be better but I'll take 4x if that's the only one you can buy.

    Thanks.

If you don't mind the bezel not matching, you can use a standard slimline notebook burner. I swapped a NEC 8x burner into mine, Newegg carries them. Someone else mentioned here today that Directron has Pioneer 8x burners in stock. I'd lean towards Pioneer, just because, but the drives should be very similar. Personally I think the standard flat bezel works better than HP's fat/curved one.

Let us know the results if you upgrade. I am interested in the Pioneer.
