My Envy 14 is configured to by default have the fn button enabled, so that there's no need for pressing fn when adjusting screen brightness, etc. However, when pressing keyboard shortcuts as ctrl+F4, alt+F4, etc, you have to hold fn as well to make the keys count as F-keys and not their fn-functions.

Is there any way to make the F-keys count as F-keys when ctrl or alt is pressed, to remove then need for pressing fn+alt+F4 for closing a window?

I didn't post in an Envy 14-thread because i know this is the way several HP notebooks are configured, so it would apply to other notebooks as well. Haven't found anything useful on Google. Thanks in advance!
