This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ...Sager NP2090 (CTO). Aside from screen res and portability, would the HPs outflank the NP2090 in durability, performance and quality (build and screen)? My needs include pro audio, graphic design, photography, Web design and some CAD. I need to buy one for myself and another for a family member. The projected config is: WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050); T7700 2.4 GHz CPU; 511MB 8600M GS; Hitachi 7K200 200 GB drive; 4GB RAM; DVD writer; wireless + Bluetooth; Vista Ultimate (if the wheels don't fall off).
