So my Hp recovery Partition is very poorly defragmented. It says that I need to defrag but I do not have room on the partition. Only 10% free space.
Should I be trying to defrag this?
If so, how do I free up the space?
Why is it so badly defragmented when I have only had the PC for 2 months?
    thanks.

Don't defrag it. You gain nothing from doing so. Defragmenting only matters on drives that will have heavy read/write cycles, and recovery partitions aren't part of that.
