My HP charger just broke.. the tip of it came off so while im waiting for an OEM replacement from ebay.. (HP branded so now worries just cheaper)

my sister has a dell inspiron 1525 charger which has the same tip as my envy charger...

    the specs on it is..

    input: 100-240V ~50-60hz 1.5A

    output: 19.5V 3.34A

its a 65W charger and its 2 pronged...

would this be safe to charge up my envy (turned off obviously lol)

cause if i dont get my new one in a week and i cant play the bf3 beta ill be so pissed.. -_-''

It's fine, but your envy may throttle itself on the 65 watt charger. HP provides a travel car charger that outputs 19.5 volts, and the polarity of the triple-conductor plug is the same for both Dell and HP chargers.

I'm using a dell charger right now to tide me over while my noisy 90 watt HP PSU gets repaced.
