    Hello all,

    I have Dell Media direct 3.0 CD and HP Compaq DV3424tu Laptop Intel dual core with quick play buttion and Win XP pro

    I want to install Dell Media direct 3.0 but I am afraid to install
    So please tale me what I can do

    If I install it will work or not
    It effect my laptop BIOS or not
    Dell Media direct 3.0 can run without OS Boot.

    Please let me know as soon as possible

    My understanding is that you have to have Dell BIOS for this to work, so it isn't going to happen for you. Dell proprietary software on HP's notebook...that is another reason I think this is impossible.

    What you are asking is akin to asking a cat to be a part of a diving team.
