    Hey!

I need a little bit of help! I have a HP DV4 Laptop, and it has been running VERY slow lately. I tried to a system restore but that didn’t help the cause, I also scanned for viruses and that still didn’t help. I want to do a destructive recovery to get it back to out of box condition. I have everything I need to save backed up to flash drives. My computer didn’t come with any discs, and I found a sheet that says I don’t need a disc to do a restore. Im pretty sure I have to press some button when I turn it on, could you tell me what buttons it is so I can access the recovery menu? How long does this recovery usually take? Is there anything that could go wrong?

If using win7 go to start type in recovery and click on recovery manager
there will be three colums at the bottom of the first is system recovery click and follow directions :)

When booting, quickly look for something that says "press f(number) for system recovery" then do that.
