I bought a dv6180us from bestbuy and this comes with a 6770 video card. But in the device ID of Catalyst, it says it's 6740. Is this normal? Not sure if the device ID is different than the model name.

If you don't mind what was the price range/specs of this laptop. I recently ordered a dv6 but HP may have sent me one with a much weaker graphics card if your deal is comprable I may just send this one back and go buy from best buy to avoid the long wait :)!

    Thanks for the clarification Acid.

I bought it at bestbuy around $905. It dropped to 899 already when I checked it a while ago. You can check the specs at bestbuy website. Mine is not fhd screen, you may get the fhd screen with an i5 at bestbuy for around $949.
