Got my dv6t last week and absolutely love it so far. I ordered the option for "reduced functionality Word and Excel", and when I got the laptop I did the minimized system image recovery right away to get rid of all the extra crap.

However, now I don't have Word or Excel. How do I get them back? Also is there anything else I should re-install manually? I probably need some kind of security/antivirus software, right?

I have no idea what the "reduced functionality" versions of Office are. You can always download a trial of the latest version directly from Microsoft's website.

Yes, you will want an antivirus program. There are several free ones that are highly rated including Avast!, Microsoft Security Essentials, and a version of AVG.
