    Did HP raise the price of the DV1000 or get rid of a discount?

    I went to price it out again today and its coming out to quite a bit more. Is there a discount they recently got rid of? I think before it was right under $1100, now its coming out to a littler over $1200...any ideas?

    I ordered one last friday. Total discount was $100 instant discount
    and $50 mail in rebate.

    I think the $100 instant discount is no longer there. Best thing you
    can do is to call them. They still show $100 off in select models
    under dv1000. However, it's not taken off in the cart.
