Hello guys, just yesterday, I purchased a NW8240 Compaq Business Laptop, It is to have a gorgeous 15.4" 1920x1200 and a decent Pentium M 2.0ghz and the rest is all things i would upgrade for about 389 US

Now i know that the battery i get will be absolutely worn out, but on websites, for a new 8 Cell battery, i should be able to get around 4 hours of battery life, and with the 12cell base, that should get me to around ~10 hours, does the laptop become unusable with that big base(ie to be only used on a table) or am i able to keep the laptop on my lap still?

I think it's a decent purchase. I wouldn't play any new games on it though.
