all you NC6000 fans.... I picked one up on ebay after reading everyones raves about it.

think it was a good buy? I have a panasonic toughbook 51 as my main unit...this will be a secondary for backup and for my fiancee to use as needed.

    god no.

Does this have some hidden features I am not seeing? You should of gotten on the dell coupon band wagon with every other "person". Also, only 1 bid on ebay usually means no good.

Looking at that again, is the processor a regular Pentium 4 or is it a PM. If it's a PM, then you got yourself a pretty good deal, if it's just a regular intel pentium 4, then the deal seem kind of dry then.

Speaking from the perspective of the "few" people who failed to jump on dell's 750 bandwagon, I think it's a pretty good deal, especially for the memory and the warranty that come with it. As for the rest of the features, you can pretty much upgrade those pretty cheap. Good Luck with your laptop then.

    1) They don't put regular p4's in 6000's.

2)I got on the dell bandwagon and then got off 2 days later after waiting on the phone for Indian service for hours and seeing how much the same notebooks were selling for on ebay.

    3) You did not get hurt. If you go to HP site you will see with 1gb of ram you did ok.
