That is not a 3.2ghz, it is a Turion 2x 1.6ghz as the spec listed in the description. And by the way at the Moment AMD doesn't have a Mobile cpu faster than 2.2ghz on the new models.

That ad was lying about the Processor Speed as 3.2 GHz
I wonder what else they lied about?

    A 12 cell battery is a plus.

Being used, I'd say it is a bit overpriced.

Yeah, he could have gottong a new one for about the same price or maybe $100 for does specs. But lets hope for our budy that it is a good one since it said NO Return, meaning that if the computer turn out to have any problem he will be screw.

He may have been just adding the core speeds. 1.6GHz + 1.6GHz = 3.2GHz. I wouldn't consider it a lie. Maybe a misunderstanding at worst.

New, it might be worth it when comparing it to a CTO. But used? It's overpriced.

    it is misleading though

if intel or AMD really wanted us to consider the dual core CPUs as the sum of both cores in ghz then they would basically say T7200 4ghz instead of 2ghz

however he does mention it is 1.6ghz in the details but still a bit misleading

aren't there now deals for the dv2000 series at HP where you could probably get this at the same price as here if not less?

sorry dude, its a nice buy but i dunno if its a good deal but the 12 cell is a nice plus if you need it

oh sorry i didn't notice that there was a 'misunderstanding' in the processor speed. He may have added the two cores up but all the same it is cheating a bit. With the Vista upgrade disk it's still a blummin good deal though!

Maybe could have gone for $50 less but that probably went in bidding.
