    sure wouldn't hurt to check and see if your numbers match up
    just because it doesn't have problems now doesn't mean it won't in the future because of a hardware problem. they'll fix it for free so i'd say look into it

    After checking that link last month, this was the first problem listed, so it sounds like it finally caught up with my notebook... My wireless quit. I called and their sending me a fedex box to ship it to them. Where is that main post on this problem?

    Step 3: Identify the symptoms
    If your computer’s model number and serial number are listed above, the series is within the specified range, and the notebook PC experiences one or more of the symptoms listed below, contact HP during the Duration of the HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement to determine whether you are eligible for a free repair.

    The notebook does not detect wireless networks and the wireless adapter is not detected in the Device Manager.
