I ordered a dv7t a few days ago configured to around 1350 without the warranty. Yesterday a 250$ off coupon was released for 1299$+ and 1260 uses. I called and tried to have the coupon added, but was told it kept coming up invalid. After talking to her supervisor, she claimed that all 100 uses were used up, I asked her if she meant 1260 and she said yes.

So 1260 people used the coupon since yesterday....yeah.

My internet is insanely slow right now so I cant even log onto the hp site and see if the coupon will work. If anyone could do that it would be great. Code was NB0031 I think.

    Thanks

i think they lied to you.. have you tried to configure another system yourself, and apply the coupon at the end? you won't get charged, but it should apply if it's still a valid coupon. i can't see 1260 uses in one day. heck,, even the 1800 use coupon lasted a week or a little more.

Youll be suprised at how many use the coupon.

Try calling again. You usually get different answers every time you call.

My internet is still horribly slow for some reason and I cant even log on to check if the coupon will work.

Anyone feel like trying for me please?

    Thanks

I just tried customizing a dv7t for you(it came up to $1,364 without tax). I used the coupon, it came up to $1,114, without tax. So yeah, it worked.

I believe HP has a 21 day return policy. Return it to them and just buy a new one with the coupon.

The customer service has always been a pain.

Just call them up and say you want to return it and order a new one with the working coupon

1200 uses have historically lasted a week, not one day
