Did everybody buy an Envy 14 through the Internet?

Hi, I have been following this forum for some time and I got really interested in buying a Envy 14 in my travel to the U.S. (I live in Brazil). Because I will be buying in these circumstances, I needed to find a physical store that has this notebook. Unfortunately, it seems that I can only find virtual stores that sell this model. So, did anybody here buy a Envy 14 in a physical store?

 

Look for a Microcenter store in the area, they carry the envy 17, 14, and 14 beats edition. Haven't seen this for myself, but I've heard Staples also carries these in store.

 

staples and best buy carry them but it varies by location....you can always do a 'ship to store' if your local store doesnt have them.

if u tell us what city youre gonna be in im sure someone will tell you exactly where to go instead of running around from store to store on your vacation.

I think I'll be in Orlando, FL and New York, so I'll accept suggestions in theses cities.
Las Vegas suggestions can be given as well, since a friend of mine is there by now.

Buy online and get it sent where you are staying. I'm not sure what advice you are looking for.

I wanted to take a look in person before buying. And most online shops don't accept cards that aren't from the U.S.. So, I needed some physical stores that carry the Envy 14 in stock. I already tried to check stocks in stores like Best Buy, with no sucess.
If I'm not being clear, please tell me.

 

At any walgreens/cvs you can buy prepaid Amex/visa credit cards so u can purchase the computer online and have it shipped to where you are staying in the states...

 

im in new york, i havent looked at any stores in manhattan so i cant help u there. i know the microcenter in westbury long island does have a envy 14 and envy 14 beats on display. i dont remember seeing the envy 17 when i was there about a month ago. here is the westbury store's location in case you want to go there...

they also have a new jersey and yonkers location if thats more convenient for you. if youre going from manhatan none of the stores are that close, it'll take about 30 minutes by car to get there.

also if youre in las vegas, you can check out FRY'S. on their website it says they carry both the 14 and the 17. i havent been to vegas in years, and definitely not to the store, so i wouldnt know if they have it on display....maybe your friend (or you) can call them to find out. but if youre in LV maybe you can go check it out...its definitely easier to get there (not as far) as the ones in NYC....the LV store seems to be very close to the airport and the strip....
