Has anybody had a chance to confirm that the Envy refresh in June actually did improve the clickpad experience?

I returned a beautiful Envy beats edition in May because the clickpad experience was so awful (even after Riel's app and tweaking). Might consider purchasing again if they actually improved it. And then if they reintroduced an HD screen it would be a no brainer (hey, I can dream, right?).

Well idk, but what I'm thinking of doing is buying the HP Envy 17's top cover and replacing the my 14's trackpad with the 17's. It's much smoother and slicker than the 14's. Seems like they're the same dimensions as well though I just eyeballed. it

Never owned an Envy 1gen but I do have the Envy 14 SB, and can confirm that the clickpad gets stuff done, stay in the box they imprinted on it and you should be good. As for the upper touch pad...well its pretty meh, doing double clicks and getting what you want to open is like 50/50, But then again...I should be using a mouse :p
