whats the difference between regular dv6t, dv6t select edition, and dv6t quad edition?
while customizing all 3 the prices are pretty much the same and i can configure them all the same way for the most part--so what is the real difference between them?

Marketing, basically. The Quad Edition starts out with the Core i7 QM while the Select edition requires you to "upgrade" to that. And that's where the trick comes in, you have to compare prices across models. Generally if you're going to make a bunch of upgrades it's better to start out with the higher end model anyway because as we all know the manufacturers make the most money by teasing a low starting price and then by the end of the day with upgrades it's not at all that price.
If you're worried about design or build quality differences between the various versions, don't, they're all the same design and build. -
Hmm that's what I thought. The weird part is that the regular base version came out to be more expensive than the SE version with same everything lol.
