Should've used the search button for the first question. Anyways, What do you think the performance increase will be from the 512mb 5450 and the 1gb 5450 card? Say I am playing a game like Left 4 Dead 2, will performance be greatly increased by going with the 1gb card? Thanks for your help!!!

Performance will likely not increase at all. For the average user 512 mb is perfectly fine. The 1 GB variant would only be useful to people that run certain 3d CAD type programs. Don't waste the extra money.

the 1gig would be nice if you were using a larger resolution (going into the 1080p realm)
but since you aren't...probably not much of a difference. -
The difference between 1gb and 512mb wont be large, but the difference between the Envy 14's 5650 and the DM4t's 5450 will be significant. If you want to play l4d2 and other games I would go with the Envy 14.
