hi, i was looking around at different reviews for the dv2000t and the v3000t, and from what i've seen it looks like the v3000t seems to get better battery life than the dv2000t. Here's what i've seen:

    For the V3000
    from cnet:
"It lasted just short of 4.5 hours in our battery-drain test..."

    from laptop mag:
"...the battery-life rating of 3 hours and 45 minutes was good"

    For the DV2000
    from notebookreview.com:
" * Wireless OFF; Lowest brightness; Word Processing only: 3:05
    * Wireless ON; Lowest brightness; Chatting only: 2:30"

from forums: it seems it lasts somewhere under 3 hrs.

So, whats the dealio? If i can get 4 hrs on a v3000t 6-cell, i probably won't get the 12-cell option. thanks a lot!

i wouldn't solely depend on what cnet says, because they are quite bias when doing reviews and this is probably no different.

Take into account the processor and video card then you'll probably see why.

Unless the Specs are entirely identical then I'm Baffled.
