Has anyone had any luck using the DigitalPersona Fingerprint software available on the HP website on a dv6500t? I got it installed and it works with the AuthenTec drivers from last year (not the ones available on Windows Update). But when I try to go into the FingerPrint Logon Manager it says "Logon Data Not Accessible". Also, it doesn't save my logons that I create. My laptop came with Verisoft Access Manager but when I didn't see it on the HP website and saw that it was no longer supported by the company that made it, I decided to try DigitalPersona.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I had that problem when I downloaded the new version and installed it without first uninstalling the old version. Then I tried uninstalling it so there was no version installed and installed it again, reassigned all my prints and it worked fine.
