Many people complained that GeForce 4 440 does not support DirectX 9. But my Video card lists DirectX 9 in the properties. Is it still not DirectX9 compatible?

    DX9 Compatible....Yes

    DX9 Compliant....NO!

Yes, it will run on DX9, but it will NOT produce DX9 level Shader effects.

If and when a game is only coded for DX9 hardware and above, this chip won't be playing. [ ;)]
