When i have my DV6-6100 in fixed graphics mode, with the 6770 enabled, dirt 3 will not work in fully screen.

I set it to 1080p, windowed works fine, hit alt+enter to go fullscreen, and the screen freezes, but the computer is still running (i can hear the menu clicks when i move my controler)

If i use dynamic graphics mode, Dirt works fine full screen.

    anyone else having this issue?

I have the same issue. I've tried the 11.4, 11.5b, & 11.7b drivers with no joy. I have to put the machine to sleep and wake it back up to get the program back to windowed from a going full-screen attempt.

Same thing in Mafia 2. I had to use windowed mode to be able to play it.

As in Dirt 3.. you need to forced DX9 to play with full screen in manual mode. I don't know why we can't use DX11.

I had this issue before, and I fixed it by forcing dx9 then i was able to go fullscreen and change it to dx11 again from the in-game menu.

Basically, you have to change forcedx9="false" to forcedx9="true" in the config file "hardware_settings_config.xml" located in "Documents\My Games\DiRT3\hardwaresettings". After that launch the game, go fullscreen and modify whatever you want in video settings.

    Hope this helps.

    I don't see any in-game DX11 option...
