    Hi,

I have a dv2500 which came with a usb Media center remote receiver (and remote). I'm now using the receiver on my desktop PC, except if I press either the QuickPlay button or the Windows button, my laptop turns itself on!

Is there a way of preventing the laptop from waking up when it detects a remote signal? (I looked in the BIOS expecting to see something like a "Wake on LAN" setting - but there wasn't one).

    Thanks,

    Jonny
