I really like this series of laptops (especially the new dv1000t which is what I'm looking at), but all the blue lights looks kind of.....stupid. Are these able to be disabled, or are you stuck with them?

Ive used this model once, and I didnt figure out how to disable these lights. If you are hardcore, you may pop the keyboard, and physically hide the leds with something

Well, the lights are embedded in the notebook and would require dissasembly to shut them out/deactivate them. I don't know if taking apart a notebook over its internal lights is worth it - there is room for an error which could cause significant damage to your notebook.

Nope, definitely not worth taking it apart to disable the lights, I was hoping there was a software option somehwere to disable them.
