Hey guys! so, I have the laptop model mentioned in the title. I've watched quite a few disassembly videos on the dv6t and tried it. I managed to get out the optical drive, hard drive, and all of the screws and other pieces on the back. Unfortunately, the next step appears to be taking off the keyboard and top of laptop. Unfortunately, I tried to open up both the keyboard and the entire top of the notebook, but both were very very stiff and I didn't want to apply more pressure than I thought the chassis could take. I opened it up enough to see if there were any connections or screws holding it in place, and there didnt seem to be other than 2 movable plastic tapes. Is there any particular reason this is happening? Did I forget to do something in a certain order, or not see a really well hidden screw? Or otherwise, is there a high quality video for a disassembly of my EXACT model? (All the dv6t models seem to be slightly different, which is actually really annoying.)
