I just recieved a new Compaq V4000T. I love it except for one problem. The display is brighter along the bottom part of the screen. No matter what angle I look at it, it's still brighter. I play a lot of games on it, and find this very distracting. Is this a common occurance, or did I just get a bad display?

It's called light leakage, all LCD displays have it.

Yeah, if it is possible to post a pic, we'll let you know if it is normal or you have a lemon.

I don't have a digital camera, so I can't post any pictures. But it looks pretty bad to me. I think I'll just return it and get a cheap non-gaming notebook. Then I'll use the money that I saved to upgrade my desktop.

    Thanks for your help.
