    Hi All,
This is my first post on this website.I knew this quite time ago and laptop review section really helped me in buying a laptop. Now coming to the topic.
I own a HP dv5t-1000 LAPTOP which I bought around 3 months ago.It was running great, but now a problem in LCD screen has starts appearing :( .Its really hard to explain that why I have attached snaps to show what's really happening.
What happens that some time discontinuous horizontal lines appears on the lower or upper part or on the whole screen of the laptop. They become prominent when the LCD brightness is dim.
The screen become normal again when I move the laptop lid back or froth.
To double check my LCD I even tried using secondary display (A CRT monitor) and the picture appears to be fine on the monitor(I guess Graphic Card is working fine).

As far as I have searched it on the internet these are the symptoms of loose display ribbon cable connector.
    Please help me!!
    Regards

    P.S:Here are some snaps

Well there isn't much you can do yourself to fix the problem. You will have to talk to HP Techsupport and get them to repair it. I am not sure what else you want to hear for an answer.
