I had the vga out connected to a dlp tv. Used the Ctrl-Alt-F1 to switch the display to external monitor.

I was watching an avi video with Media Player Classic, paused it and left for about 10 mins or so. When i returned the tv was blank. I'm guessing it's either screensaver or standby mode? So i hit a key to wake the computer up. The tv green screened for a second, then the connection dropped. Weak or no signal message on tv. So obviously i tried to switch back to the laptop display. Ctrl-Alt-F3. But nothing. I've Ctrl-Alt-Del several times, it reboots but nothing on both displays. I've even hard power off and on again, still nothing.

I'm not even sure if it's booting up to the welcome screen right now. When i hit the down arrow key and entered password nothing happens.

Anyone have any ideas before i talk to HP?
