Hi everybody, i have a problem with my 17" HP Elitebook 8730w. The laptop is from 2009 but the screen, well.. is a very VERY poor quality, from 2005 samsung (model sec sec3448). It is not dreamcolor, but i expected a hi-quality CCFL WUXGA 1920x1200 screen and therefore i sent it back in service for display replacement.

The problem is, they told me that is possible to be replaced with the same model and now i try to find what other 17" 1920x1200 screens are available for HP laptops.

If you have such a screen and is a good quality one, please tell me its model so i can make a specific request (you can find the screen model with PC Wizard)

    Thanks
