So on my dv8000z I'm with wxga+(1440x900) LG Philips LCD. The thing is that it had some dirt and hair stuck inside it, so I took it apart to clean it, but I messed it up and there are some brighter spots. Now I want to get a new screen from ebay, but I want it to be wsxga+. In the HP's manual it says that both single lamp lcd's use the same part number cable and inverter board, but the seller said they won't give me warranty, cause they've seen cases where the cable or the inverter board burned??? after upgrading. But since the part numbers are the same for both, should there be a problem? And also, the seller said they have different brands of lcd's. Is this a problem if I get a samsung for example? Will the cable fit?
    Thank you.
