    Do I need to remove the crap before or after creating the recovery DVDs

    I just got my dv6700t but before I venture into a clean install, I want to try to remove all the crap and see how it goes from there. But I'm not sure if I should create the recovery DVD before or after the crap-removing process. :confused:

    I had the same doubt. You don't actually need to do that. Or should I say it has no effect whatsoever. The Recovery DVDs are created using the Recovery Disk titled drive and therefore removing or not removing has no effect.

    yea if you ever back up from the recovery dvd's all the crap comes back lol
