I just bought a new Pavilion x360. This would be the 5th hp I've owned over the last decade and a half or so.

When I opened the box, the laptop had some fingerprints on the shell as well as on the screen itself. There was not a cloth/paper screen protector between the screen and the keyboard. None of my previous laptops came in such a manner (all of them were clean of prints and all of them had that protector).

Is there a chance that my machine has been opened before? I bought it from an Amazon reseller, NOT from hp.
