I use InfraRecorder. Nice little free app.
There's also ImgBurn, very recommended.
Windows also has an integrated burning solution, I think
. But I'd never use that...

If i remember correctly windows media player has a built in burning program

The absolute best (free) CD burning program I have found is CDBurnerXP. It's a great program with a very solid feature set! It also supports LightScribe if your CD burner offers this feature in your laptop or you decide to go with an external.

ImgBurn is an excellent choice.

Windows 7 does a damn good job of burning ISOs and images. And I've never had an issue with Windows built-in burning tool for files and stuff.

Infrarecorder is my favorite open source burner, has great iso support.

Not to threadjack, but I have a semi-related question. Anyone know which software is required to burn the recovery discs? I removed a bunch of software without burning the recovery discs, and now, when I click on Recovery Media Creation, it doesn't even launch.
Thanks. -
I'll second this software....it's simple, fast and gets the job done without any complaints.

is that better than imgburn?

if you have imgburn and it works for you then stick with it. If not look elsewhere.
Does Envy 14 come with Burning Program?
