This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Does HP zx5000 laptop support USB boot?

    Changed the hard drive on my HP zx5000 laptop, and want to do a clean install windows 7. The built-in DVD rom did not boot up the disc and want to try the USB port. However, it seemed not support usb from boot menu. Does anybody have experience on booting up from usb for this laptop?
