I ordered logitech's vx revolution. It needs setpoint software to use all its features. In past i have heard stories of setpoint messing up the mousepad functionality.

I want to ask all people who are using it with their notebooks, Should I fear installing this on my laptop?? Any tips or points to watch out??
    thanks

it all depends on the mouse and the version of logitech software. in my case, i had a minor issue.

i bought a nano vx mouse and when i installed the software, for some odd reason, it disabled the 'click' option on my touchpad. meaning - i could move the mouse around with my touchpad but could not click with it.

this was an easy fix. i just had to go to setpoint options and enable clicking on the touchpad.

so now i have both my touchpad s/w running as well as my vx nano software and there are no issues whatsoever.
