Does anyone has these problems with their winter (silver aluminum) dv7 or dv6?

    1. Keyboard is slightly uneven, one edge is a little higher than the other.

    2. Click pad is slightly uneven, same issue

    3. Aluminum chassis has slight scuff marks if looked on under certain lighting conditions

    4. Most importantly...hard drive periodically making clicking noises

If you do, or had those issues, would you consider returning?

None of these problems are noticed on my computer. However here are some comments:
    1. The keyboard has a bit of play in it if you push it down from one end. It may even be there because of softer shock resistant plastic material under it. It does not cause any performance degradation.
    2. The click-pad is seated in a form fitting rectangular indentation. It is not uneven. I guess if the fitting was not just right, it might appear uneven.
    3. No scuff marks on the chassis. However, its design itself would make the scuff marks, if any, less obvious.
    4. With the solid state drive in my computer, there are no noises or sounds from the drive.

If the problem that you notice are bothersome, cause dissatisfaction or result in performance issues, by all means contact HP to resolve your concern.
