Hi, do you know if every Envy 14 comes with a mSATA?

I'm asking this because I'm planning to buy the Envy 14 and a mSATA SSD apart.

    Thanks.

Not possible? I thought if you bought the connector board you could install that and then the mSATA SSD? I would have spend the $150 extra when I bought my laptop if I would have had the money but I didn't. My plan was to buy the board and install the mSATA SSD on my own.

@david376 - If you have the $$$ it's worth it to just buy the mSATA option at build time. The mSATA board is about $75 + the price of your mSATA. Plus if you buy it at build time it's covered under your warranty. So if you have the $$$ do it now. I would have but funds were the issue.

I haven't read that anyone tried to add the mSATA board to a non-mSATA equipped envy and it did/didn't work. AFAIK there is no information confirming it will work or not on the new SB envy 14's.
