I have an HP dv8 which I bought in January 2010. I can't find anywhere whether it's SATA II or SATA III.

    Anyone can help?

    Thanks.

The dv8 uses an Intel 5-series mobile chipset, which supports SATA II (3Gbit/s). It does not support SATA III speeds.
