    Hi Guys;

    I have HP DV6-3104Eg and the clicking/hovring mouse over battery icon only shows percent of battery remaining. It does not show the time available for use!

    Any one knows how to change it?

    Thanks

    Use BatteryBar. For quite a while HP laptops have come without the function to estimate battery lifetime.

    BatteryBar or BatteryCare. I prefer BatteryBar because of the icon it puts on the taskbar, but BatteryCare is 100% free for all features. Windows battery gauge is never that accurate.

    In my experience BatteryBar learns over time, dunno if that's the case with the other one as i never used it.

    They both require some calibration, so at least a 50% battery drain to get pretty accurate. A full battery drain would be best but if you occasionally use the battery it learns from there. So first half dozen hours on battery aren't super accurate.
